Nagasawa Sets Up All ba as Wellington Phoenix Rout Newcastle Jets
Kazuki Nagasawa supplied ba assists and five key passes as Wellington Phoenix beat Newcastle Jets 3-0 in the A-League Men.
ba goals, ba assists, một provider. Kazuki Nagasawa did not need to find the net himself to decide this một. The Wellington Phoenix midfielder turned in a performance built entirely around service, setting up every goal in a 3-0 win away at Newcastle Jets.
Nagasawa finished with five key passes, ba of which were converted, a return that earned him a match rating of 8.3, comfortably the standout mark on the pitch. For a player operating through the middle, that kind of conversion rate from chances created is rare: more than half of his key passes ended in goals.
A Night of Pure Creation
There was no fuss about it, no solo run capped with a finish. Nagasawa's night was about timing and vision, picking out teammates at the right moment ba separate times as Wellington pulled apart Newcastle's defence. Jets never found an answer, shipping ba without reply at home.
For Wellington Phoenix, the result was built on một man's distribution as much as any collective pressing or structure. When a single player accounts for every assist in a 3-0 win, the story of the match more or less writes itself.
The Numbers
- 3 assists
- 5 key passes
- 8.3 match rating
- Final score: Newcastle Jets 0-3 Wellington Phoenix
Nagasawa's display is the kind of game that tends to stick in the memory long after the scoreline fades: not for a moment of individual brilliance in front of goal, but for the sheer repetition of setting teammates up to do the finishing.
